These Foot problems are sometimes the first sign of more serious medical conditions such as diabetes and nerve or circulatory disorders.


During an average lifetime, each person walks about 115,000 miles and three-quarters of people have foot problems at some point in their lives. Many reasons to occur foot problems. Most problems due to wearing ill-fitting shoes and also wearing hard sole of sandals which results in injury or as a complication of the disease. People with diabetes mellitus or circulatory diseases are 20 times more likely to have foot problems than the general public.


Callus occurs because of hyperkeratosis. Hyperkeratosis is the thickening of the skin because of pressure. Callus can occur over a bony prominence, on the ball of the foot or on the heel. Callus often occur because of prolonged standing and should end in chronic pain. A callus appears as yellow or dark brown discolored skin.

Symptoms to get Hard Skin such as pain on weight-bearing, relieved by rest, A hard growth of skin, usually on the ball of the foot, and increase discomfort in thin-soled shoes or high heeled shoes.


The following are the treatments to avoid HardSkin such as Apply a moisturizing cream twice daily, Use pumice stone to reduce the thickness of the hard skin, Avoid high heeled shoes or thin soled shoes, Buy shoes with a good shock absorbing sole and Never try to pare down the hard skin your self with a razor blade or a pair of scissors.


Cracked heels are usually caused by dry skin. when the fissures are deep the skin bleeds easily and can be very painful. The heels appear yellow or dark brown counting on the skin type and are normally amid dry skin. Symptoms include a hard growth of skin, usually on the outer edge of the heel and discomfort in thin soles or open back shoes. We can avoid this by applying moisturizing cream twice dialy to affected heels.
