Health Tips for Kids
In
comparison to elders kids are more sensitive and they are not at all health
conscious, so they need some extra care.
Most of the parents do have complaints
that their children do not follow any routine, they lead their lives
carelessly. It is because the kids cannot conclude in between “What is good or
bad for their health.” Often children go with their taste and follow the things
which they feel good.
As school-going age is the perfect time to make kids learn about healthy diets and
activities. So, here are some tips which will help you to keep your child
internally
(Mentally) and externally (Physically) sound:
Don’t let kids skip breakfast: Breakfast is very important to keep you energetic for a
whole day. Mostly it has been observed that kids get fed up with repetitive
eatables that mothers serve as breakfast, either they avoid to have it or they
don’t eat sufficiently. Kids hunger grows faster after seeing the good stuff;
they need a variety of eatables to enjoy each day. Being a mother starts doing
little experiments to make tasty and nutritious stuff for your little ones’,
so they don’t need to look outside something to eat. Remember breakfast should
be containing less oil to keep your child comparatively active. Don’t give your
child over vitamin supplements.
Develop good habits among your kids: The most prominent thing to be adopted by each and every
child is washing hands before any meal. Most of the children do not care about it,
they don’t find it useful and have their meals without washing their hands but
they don’t know that due to not being habitual they fall ill frequently. So,
parents should try to make their kids aware of the benefits of washing
hands. Even when your kids come back from playgrounds, encourage them to wash
their hands and legs well. Secondly, tooth decay in kids is most common,
inspire your kids to brush at least twice a day, first in the morning and
second just before going to bed. Don’t let them walk and play barefooted. And
even don’t allow them to play video games sitting before a screen for hours.
Video games are good for mental growth but not good for their eyes. Instead of
playing video games for hours encourage your children to spare some time on
physical outdoor games too.
Encourage your kids to drink plenty of water: As it is
said that “We can stay for long without food but we can’t stay for long without
water.” Water is not only useful indigestion but it is also useful to
discharge impurities from our body. Often kids don’t drink water after overeat,
so before giving meal make them consume a glass of water. Don’t allow them
to drink water in between the consumption of meals unless it is required. Inspire your
kids to quench their thirst with at least 6 to 7 glass of water a day.
Generally, in winters people don’t feel thirsty and due to that their skin gets
dry up. So, don’t avoid and don’t let your child avoid drinking plenty of water
during the winter season.
Inspire your kids for physical practices: As it is said: “A sound body has a sound mind.” So, physical
practices are not only important for kids’ growth but also good for their
concentration. Develop the habit of physical exercises that your children can
perform with ease. And also inspire them to spare some time on meditation and
like breathing exercises that will keep them stress-free. Alas, many children
treat their studies as stress, and being at that young stage they’re not
supposed to take the stress. So, these physical practices may prove helpful in
stress reduction and intensify their concentration towards studies.
Develop oneness ability among your kids: At least get together to eat with family once in a day.
Spend some quality time with your kids and share your meals with them. Teach
them how important is sharing to develop oneness ability among your kids.
Togetherness will keep emotions alive in your kids. And surly emotions will
help them to raise and be a dear one among their friends.
By
following above mentioned guidelines/tips about health you can help your kids
develop healthy habits prematurely that will surly turnout in long-lasting
benefits.
