  • Oil foods should be controlled completely.  The junk food, pizza and burger should be reduced.

  • Clarified butter and hydrogenated vegetable fat should not be used at all.

  • Vegetarians think that cholesterol would not be a problem for them, but if they use a lot of oil then it is also dangerous.

  • If the vegetables are taken as salads then there would not be any problem, but while cooking only the problem arises.  Even though oil consumption cannot be stopped completely it should be controlled.  There will be some problem with each and every oil, hence the oil should be changed and used.

  • The mutton should be heated on the fire directly or boiled and then it should be taken.  If it is deep fried then this is not good for health at all.  Except in prawns there would be less of cholesterol in other fishes so fishes should be given importance while eating food.

Controlling cholesterol with exercises

With exercise not only bad cholesterol (LDL) reduces but also the good cholesterol (HDL) increases.  If walking is done regularly then there is a chance of reducing heart diseases.  Even though curative measures are taken there would be bad cholesterol generated due to hereditary reasons.  Then consult the doctor and taken tablets for lessening the cholesterol.  If they are taken for lifetime also no side effects will be seen.   The food that is taken transforms into cholesterol and enters the blood can also be controlled with   some tablets.  If the doctor is consulted and medicines are taken accordingly then there would be no cholesterol problem for lifetime
