Covid-19
Vaccines – Have we seen last of them?
He recently heard President Joe Biden say there would
be enough to equip "ADULT" people by the end of May. Currently,
Johnson & Johnson is the only vaccine approved for those aged 16 and over.
Both Moderna and Pfizer are 18 years and older. Now what about those under 16?
Of the 358 million in the USA, 16 or less include about 80 million and that is
in the USA alone. The Phase 3 examinations for those under 16 and under will
not be completed until the end of the 4th term of 2021. This leaves a lot of
space for other less traditional companies like Tonix and Occugen to sell their
products.
This requires processing only for people under the age
of 16 in the USA not to mention, the question remains? Will this be a "flu
Shot" situation? It may be so. All three current providers are working on
different types of "booster" shots. If they didn’t believe it was
necessary than why they were working on it. Why do some companies continue to
develop their own drugs if they do not believe this too? It is clear that
around the world and in the US there is a place for some who are looking for a
vaccine
The rest of the world will use more than the three
vaccines we see in the US. China has its own vaccine as well as Russia. Many
variations from many countries. Also, there are many countries that want to be
secure enough to vaccinate their people. More competition in a less crowded
market. An additional reason why some companies continue to bring the vaccine
to market.
See how all of this is trending. With all of this in
mind we can be hard pressed to think of the end of Covid-19 anytime soon. It
has been reported that worldwide only 3.5 doses per 100 people are given. In
some countries there has never been a single dose. Countries such as Japan,
Australia, Iran, Egypt, Thailand and many others show less than 1% vaccination.
The US had 79.26 million visitors from previous
countries alone last year. With travel restrictions decreasing as
vaccinations, we will probably see a boost in tourism. What will be the effect?
How do we protect those under the age of 16 as society returns to normal?
One thing is for sure, don't let your guard down yet,
this Covid thing isn't over yet.
